DIY Butcher Block Table
On the heels of the lovely wall cabinet from Hindsvik, I found this DIY table assembled from scavenged butcher block that’s almost exactly the same style.
What I love best about this project is that, other than the acquisition of some butcher block, the cost comes in under $100 and everything can be purchased from your local big box hardware store.

That kind of butcherblock can be salvaged from an old upright piano. The portion that supports the keys looks just like that table top once it is removed and cleaned up. The piece I pulled from my old piano is around 56″x22″x2.5″
