Vintage crates are a great idea for housing an herb garden, especially when you are confined to balcony gardening like Lindsey is.

Weekends are always too short and lately I’ve been feeling like we’ve been leaving more projects undone than completed. It was stormy and cloudy all this weekend, but we managed to finish building our small backyard deck (full-write up coming soon!) and get one of the garden beds dug out.
I keep trying to cram all of the planting and gardening in each weekend that I can so everything has a chance to start growing. I can’t wait until it’s summer and we have fresh vegetables overflowing and all the plants we have put in this spring have gotten a little established and start growing in.
It’s the first time in years that I’ve actually had a backyard and want to enjoy every minute of it. Perhaps that’s another reason why Mondays are so hard?
If you’re a fan of shopping and lovely home goods, you might have heard of MightyGoods or MightyHaus. For six years, Maggie of Mighty Girl fame has run the network of shopping sites that has helped discover and highlight beautifully designed goods.
Over the last year or so though, updates have become less frequent and the sites have slowed down. It makes sense why, now. So Maggie’s putting the entire network up for sale, with the hopes that someone with a passion for shopping and great design will pick the sites up and give them the love they deserve.
We just hope the Mighty Network finds a great new home so we can continue to get our fix.
